all around the world giving her the experience and knowledge of the fashion
industry at its highest.
With over 4 years’
experience in the fashion industry, Niki has developed strong relationships
with many Designers, Photographers, Make-up artists,
Hairstylists, Models and Media nationally and internationally.

Her creative mind is
stimulated by a number of unique inspirations; colour, shapes and details, with
most of her creative ideas coming to her while trying to sleep. Utilising mostly dark colours, Niki likes to
splash the occasional bright colour to give it the ultimate ‘MUST HAVE’
piece. She likes to play around with
different and often unusual detail and shapes which invoke interest and
captivate the crowd. Some of her
stunning pieces are unique and playful, and engaging different embellishments such
as feathers, ribbons, bows, beads, and sequins.
Niki-lee Designs bring a 3
dimensional focus to each piece, sweet innocence, fierceness and
in-your-face'sexual confidence. Each garment is designed to make an
individual statement about the wearer and highlight a
women’s sexuality. The combination of
the 2 evokes confidence and elegance. Niki-lee Teljega started designing when she was 6 years old, knowing
exactly who and what she wanted to be, a fashion designer. After high school, she went straight into
fashion school to study fashion design and technology, where she gained the
confidence to design and start her own business.
The label
‘Niki-lee Teljega’ was born in 2008 from a room in her house in Australia which
she turned into a studio. Niki showcased
her first collection in Brisbane, Australia, winning the admiration from the
crowd and show organisers and the media nominated Niki-Lee design as the best
designer which won her a 5 week spread about her business in the newspaper. Her
participation in the first fashion show made the front cover of the local
newspaper. After her first show she
received a number of calls from interested designers, models, photographers,
even school students wanting to work on future projects or work experience with
her.
Since then, Niki
has taken her creative designs all around Australia and even London, showcasing
her collection and receiving offers to sell her clothing labels in numerous
shops and online stores. Niki has been
asked to work with numerous photographers, designers, labels and magazine to
assist with on-set production and design and to facilitate other designers to
showcase their designs.
Niki is continually
amazed and inspired by the unique architecture and landscaping on offer in this
country and is excited to create designs to share with the rest of the world. With vision, heart and soul, Niki believes
she can be an inspirational designer who will pave the way for future upcoming
young designers to follow their dreams, their heart and believe they too can be
make a difference in the fashion industry.

Designs
Incorporating simple yet beautiful silhouettes finished with intricate
and delicate hand made embellishments, the garments from Eva Q Design
projects classic elegance and a feminine style.
With a degree in Textile Design from RMIT University, Eva has
specialised in knitwear and consequently fabric pattern, colour and
texture all play a crucial part in her design process. “Experimenting,
exploring and merging traditional techniques with my own contemporary
style allow me to push boundaries and develop a line that’s quite
different,” she said.
Inspired by Haute Couture fashion, the Eva Q Design range is a result
of labour intensive work, involving complex detailing, layering and
embellishments in the effort to produce good quality, timeless garments.
The range is designed to offer women long-lasting investment pieces that
they can pull out of their wardrobe for that special occasion.
Another element that makes the Eva Q Design label stand out is its
unique commitment to crafting pieces that are environmentally friendly.
All wholesalers are sourced locally and many of the trims and
embellishments used are found at local markets, op shops or from fabric
off-cuts that would otherwise go to waste. This means that at least
90-95% of all fabric sourced by Eva Q Design are used to support reusing
and recycling materials and to keep waste to a minimum.
Eva Q Design is also 100% Australian made and owned. All garments are
individually hand made in Eva’s studio; every single cut, stitch, bead
or flower gives each garment that ‘personal touch’.
Eva’s garments have a strong focus on decorative textiles with fine
detailing and neat finishes apparent in her designs. The meticulous
textile designs complement the classic silhouettes and soft colours used
throughout the collection, showing Eva’s passion for detail.
The use of soft and dusty colours along with delicate, floaty fabrics
suggests an apparent romantic influence that has been expressed
throughout all of Eva’s collections. The fabric selection across the
label lends itself to comfort while adding a distinct feminine touch.
Silks and beading are used to create pretty finishes and give a bit of
sparkle while soft tulle, lace and organza add texture and a sculptural
feel to the designs.

Australian designer Hayley Kathryn has been involved in fashion and
design from a very young age. Starting at the age of nine with modelling in
local runway shows, she always had a passion for her own creations and a unique
taste. She started making her own clothes out of absolutely anything she could
find at just 13 years old. Ten years later, Hayley moved on to running and
co-ordinating her own fashion shows. Now with extensive experience in graphic
design as well as fashion design, Hayley produces her own line of swimwear,
which is rapidly expanding into a complete beach and resort wear collection.
Inspired by sizzling Brazilian summers, Cebiche’s sassy and flirtatious
swimwear has hit Australian shores with a boom. Hayley always felt there were
very few swimsuits available that combined good design, quality and style, in a
way that suited her and those around her with similar tastes. This challenge,
coupled with her intense entrepreneurial spirit, was the vision for Cebiche
Swimwear. Cebiche Swimwear gets its
Latin American name from the delectable dish of colourful, delicately prepared raw fish.
Hayley Kathryn spent the last three years working alongside a Brazilian
team to create her designer label of high end swimwear. She targeted an
exclusive niche market and launched in late 2010. As a former swimwear model,
Hayley recognized the difficulty in finding the perfect swimsuit for one’s body
and decided something needed to be done without resorting to separates and full
pieces. Cebiche’s cuts have been designed with every woman’s unique shape in
mind to make you feel confident, comfortable and yet still sexy in the most up
to date styles, cuts and fabrics. Hayley envisioned a woman who is not afraid
to show her body and proud to embrace her own sexuality.
The company has now grown to service many prestigious boutiques, high

instinctive knowledge of the feminine form and her attention to detail, the

casper&pearl designs are inspired and made for free-spirited, adventurous and
innocent girls with a love for nature and the 1970’s. They get their inspiration by
nearly everything around them. The inspiration casper&pearl are using for the Brisbane Fashion Show is inspired by
the movie “The Secret Garden”, flowers, bright colours and Indian
culture. casper&pearl started nearly a year ago, by altering vintage and
designing one off pieces. casper&pearl held a market stall in Adelaide and nearly
sold out and received such great feedback. This year they have gained a lot
of regular customers and lots of great stockists all over Australia and
even in the U.S.
